How To Stop Your Glasses From Fogging Up When Wearing a Face Mask
In many public indoor spaces, face coverings are now compulsory in order to help control the spread of COVID-19. Whilst this is a necessary step, for people that wear glasses on a daily basis, the misting-up of their lenses when they wear a mask can be a little irritating, making it hard for them to see.

Make sure your mark or face covering has a snug fit
Face masks must cover your nose and mouth, helping to protect you against airborne particles carrying the virus, as well as helping to prevent you from spreading the virus if you have it. It’s important to make sure that your mask fits snugly against your nose and cheeks, as not only do gaps mean that you breathe out hot air that fogs up your lenses, but these gaps allow vapours to escape, as well as making it easier for you to breathe airborne particles in.
Make sure your mask is secure around your nose
Making sure your mask is properly secured around your nose is one way to limit the amount of breath that escapes upwards. Moving your mask further up your nose (ensuring that your mouth is still fully covered), and wearing your glasses over the top of your mask can be a useful way to keep the mask secure and prevent fogging. If your mask won’t stay in place, a piece of surgical tape can help to keep it secure.
Try to breathe downwards
To prevent your glasses from steaming up, you can try to exhale in a downward motion. Needless to say, this requires some thought and getting used to, but it can be a good solution when you do get the hang of it!
Use anti fog cleaning paste or spray
